Abbotsford – Monday’s Abbotsford City Council meeting featured a high profile transportation item of the agenda.
The City received the green light from the Transportation Advisory committee to start the project to improve traffic flow at the Cardinal/Blue Jay/Maclure intersection.
The proposed improvements are to enhance traffic flow, relieve congestion and improve turning towards and away from Highstreet Shopping Centre.
Improvements to bike lanes and sidewalks are also part of the deal.
Abbotsford Councilor Dave Loewen told FVN that he was very pleased that the improvement project will go ahead.
