The shut down and suspension of visitation rights happened on Friday August 24th.
Correctional Service Canada clamped down after suspicions arose that drugs were being smuggled into the Federal Penitentiary.
Lockdown like these are not uncommon.
Mountain is on the same grounds as Kent Maximum Security Penitentiary.
