In Downtown Chilliwack, North/South Military and the Uptown Grill lost their awnings during the snowmageddeon. Cam Hull of North/South Military says his awning went first (along Yale Road) around 11PM Saturday night with the Uptown coming down a short time later. Hull wouldn’t speculate on the cost of the damage.
Insurance companies, let alone ICBC will have a busy week.
Traffic around Five Corners in Chilliwack was crawling along, however side streets are not the immediate priority for crews. Keeping the major arteries is job number one. The same rules apply for Abbotsford, Hope, Agassiz and Mission.
