Abbotsford – On Saturday, October 22, 2016 at approximately 8:00 pm, the Abbotsford Police received a call alerting them to possible shots fired in the 27600 block of Signal Court, Abbotsford. An area search was conducted and a residence was identified as the location of a confirmed shooting. The house received damage to the exterior of the residence. Fortunately, the two occupants in the residence were not injured.
APD Patrol Division officers conducted neighborhood canvasses and searched the area to locate any persons or possible vehicles that may have been involved. The occupants of the residence are cooperative. The motive for this incident is unclear at this time.
APD Forensic Identification officers continued to collect forensic and video evidence. The APD Major Crime Unit has assumed this investigation.
