Ottawa (CRA Canada Revenue Agency) – Scam alert!
Scammers are sending messages saying your tax return has errors and sending you a link to download a revised notice of assessment.
They also tell you that the notice isn’t available in your CRA account and that you have a limited time to download it.
What to do:
Don’t click on any links or buttons
Don’t download or open any attachments
Don’t reply to the message
View your personal income tax and benefit info online in your CRA account
Report the scam
