Fraser Valley (Media Post) – On September 23, the Fraser Valley Health Care Foundation announced that Leanna Kemp has been appointed as their new Executive Director, effective October 19, 2026. Leanna Kemp succeeds Liz Harris who will continue to guide the Foundation during this transition phase and has led the Foundation for more than a decade.
Leanna Kemp brings eleven years of leadership in the non-profit sector, most recently serving as CEO of the Chilliwack Chamber of Commerce, where she was instrumental in growing the relevance and impact of the Chamber. During her career Leanna Kemp specialized in bringing people together behind an important goal and in strategic development.
“We are thrilled to welcome Leanna Kemp to the Fraser Valley Healthcare Foundation,” said Board Chair Lawyer Cristen Gleeson K.C. “Leanna’s deep commitment to our mission and proven track record in organizational leadership make her the ideal person to guide the Foundation into its next chapter of growth and impact.”
In this role, Leanna Kemp will lead the Foundation’s strategic vision, oversee daily operations, and work closely with the Board and staff to expand the Foundation’s community reach and program effectiveness.
“I look forward to my role at the Foundation and hope to accomplish an expanded donor base and build upon the growth of funding for healthcare needs throughout Abbotsford, Mission, Chilliwack and Hope,” said Leanna Kemp.
