Abbotsford (with files from CityNews) – Over the past few weeks, there have been drowning incidents at Cultus Lake.
Sadly Abbotsford is not immune to this.
On Saturday August 22 (4:40PM) , Abby PD said that officers and other emergency responders were called to the park on Walmsley Avenue.
When first responders arrived, bystanders had already pulled a 30 year old man from the water and begun performing CPR.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police have determined the drowning was an accident. Victim Services is providing support to those affected by the incident.
