Normally Used on Construction Sites and on Farms, RCMP Need Info on Bobcat Skid Steer Theft

Chiulliwack – The Chilliwack RCMP is seeking the public’s assistance following the theft of a Bobcat skid steer from the Greendale area.

Police received a report on October 14, 2026, at approximately 2:33 p.m. that a Bobcat had been stolen from a property in Greendale. Investigators are now working to determine where the equipment may have been taken and are asking the public to report any information that could assist the investigation.

As Bobcat skid steers are commonly seen on farms and construction sites, police are encouraging residents to think about any equipment that may have appeared out of place in the days following the theft.

Investigators are also interested in hearing from anyone who observed suspicious activity involving trailers, towing vehicles, or heavy equipment in the Greendale area around the time of the reported theft.

Anyone with information, surveillance footage, dash camera video, or who may have seen a Bobcat that appeared out of place is asked to contact the Chilliwack RCMP at 604-792-4611 and quote file # 2026-46077.
