The Provincial election is October 24.

Leah Ballantyne, LLB, LLM, is a First Nations lawyer and proud member of the Mathias Colomb Cree Nation in Pukatawagan, Manitoba, a signatory community to Treaty 6. She is the first and only member of her Nation to become a lawyer.
Leah’s lived experience and professional journey are grounded in service to Indigenous peoples and the protection of inherent and treaty rights. As a survivor of the Sixties Scoop, she brings both personal insight and legal expertise to her work in child welfare reform, First Nations justice, and governance.
She is called to the Bar in Manitoba and British Columbia.

My practice centers grassroots leadership, community authority, and the revitalization of First Nations legal systems.
