Abbotsford – Celebrating 20 years of Community Building.
Tickets are now available for the 2026 Archway Community Builders’ Awards (CBAs) presented by Fortis BC. This year marks a milestone of 20 years of recognizing outstanding community, leadership, and generosity in the Fraser Valley.
Created by the Archway Board of Directors in 2006, the CBAs have honoured 63 individuals, businesses and organizations whose commitment to community has made a meaningful and lasting impact. In 2022, four flood heroes were recognized for their role in helping the community through the 2021 floods and recently an emerging category was added to recognize those newer to giving back.
The 2026 Community Builder Award recipients will be announced at the awards ceremony on October 14th.
“For the past two decades, these awards have recognized the people who strengthen the fabric of our community through volunteerism, philanthropy and leadership,” said Pamela Chatry, Co-Chair of the CBAs and Archway Board Member. “Please join us in recognizing our nominee’s efforts in making Abbotsford a more connected, compassionate and vibrant place to live.”
The ceremony will be held on Wednesday, October 14th, 2026 at the Matsqui Centennial Auditorium. Doors will open at 5:30pm with a reception sponsored by The Chef’s Acre. The ceremony is set to begin at 6:30pm.
Tickets can be purchased at Archway.ca/ticket.
