Fraser Valley/Vancouver (BCSTA) – With nominations now open for the October 17, 2026 BC school trustee elections, the BC School Trustees Association (BCSTA) has released a new video, Inside the Role: A School Trustee’s Perspective, featuring past BCSTA President and West Vancouver school trustee Carolyn Broady.
In the video, Broady offers a candid, insider’s look at the role of a school trustee — the responsibilities it carries, the impact it has on students and communities, and why she believes strong candidates matter to the future of public education in BC.
