Cultus Lake/Columbia Valley – Taryn Dixon will once again seek Re-Election as FVRD Electoral Area H Director for Cultus Lake/Columbia Valley. Three terms on her resume and looking for a fourth.
From her Social Media Declaration: “I’m excited to announce that I will be seeking re-election as Electoral Area H Director for Cultus Lake/Columbia Valley. I filed my nomination papers Tuesday September 1.
It has been an honour to serve the residents of Area H for the past three terms, and I’m proud of what we have accomplished together.
Some highlights of the past term included the opening of the state-of-the-art North Cultus Lake Wastewater Treatment Plant, continued work with Cultus Lake stewards to protect the health of Cultus Lake, ongoing efforts to improve safety and emergency management, particularly during wildfire season, and the continued use and maintenance of the Lakeside Trail.
I have also made it a priority to communicate regularly with residents and keep you informed. I value hearing from you, whether by email or phone, and I always appreciate residents reaching out with their comments, questions or concerns. I do my best to listen, respond and help whenever I can.
There is still much to do, and I hope to have the opportunity to serve you for another term and continue the good work happening throughout our area.
I look forward to your support on Saturday, October 17, 2026.”
