From his Media release:

I believe Abbotsford is one of the best places to live in British Columbia, and I want to help ensure it continues to grow into a city that is safe, welcoming, and prepared for the future. A city where families feel comfortable enjoying our parks, where local businesses are encouraged to thrive, where our roads and infrastructure keep pace with growth, and where every tax dollar is invested responsibly.

If you place your trust in me as your city councillor, my commitment is simple: I will listen, I will show up, and I will work hard. I want to spend time with the people who live here, work here, and invest in our community because the best decisions come from understanding the people they affect. My role will be to represent your voice around the council table with honesty, respect, and common sense.

While I may be new to municipal government, I am not new to leadership or serving this community. For decades, I’ve owned and operated local businesses, worked closely with the public, organized community events, supported local charities, managed budgets, solved problems, and built relationships based on trust and accountability. Those experiences have taught me the value of listening, collaboration, and finding practical solutions.

I also have tremendous respect for those who have served on council before me. Public service is a significant responsibility, and I believe the strongest communities are built when people with different experiences come together, listen to one another, and work toward common goals.

I am excited for the opportunity to bring my experience, my energy, and my passion for Abbotsford to City Council. Together, we can continue building a community that is safe, vibrant, supportive, and one that we are all proud to call home.
