Abbotsford (OPINION) – Abby Cat Daddy – The Feline Advocate Society is putting out an urgent call to our media community. As we head into the holidays, 32 cats and kittens are currently waiting for their chance at a loving home, with another dozen becoming available in the coming days. In total, we are caring for 98 cats right now—each one deserving safety, warmth, and a family to call their own.
To help these wonderful souls find placement before the holidays, we have temporarily reduced adoption fees by $50 for single cats and $75 for bonded pairs until December 23rd. Every adoptable cat comes spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped/tattooed, flea-treated, dewormed, and with a 6-week PetSecure insurance trial.
We are reaching out in hopes that you may help us share this story. The winter season is always challenging for rescue organizations, and the number of companion animals needing assistance far exceeds available space. Features, community spotlights, or online listings all make an enormous difference in helping these cats find their families.

These are the forgotten souls who simply need someone to notice them.
As we near the end of the year, we are also encouraging those able to do so to consider a year-end charitable gift to support our life-saving programs. As a registered charity, ACD can issue tax receipts for all eligible donations made before December 31st, allowing donors to make a meaningful impact while receiving a year-end tax benefit.
