Chilliwack – The Chilliwack Chiefs are excited to announce an early Christmas present.
The return of forward veteran Arjun Bawa.
Bawa began the 2025-26 season with the Red Deer Rebels (WHL) before rejoining the Chiefs. His return brings exactly what the Chiefs have been looking for up front. With the team undersized this season, his physicality, grit, and ability to play heavy minutes will provide an immediate boost.
Arjun was also a key piece of last season’s Chiefs lineup, contributing to the team’s strong postseason run. His understanding of the organization’s expectations, culture, and day-to-day standards made him an ideal fit to bring back.
“He knows how we want to play, he understands the identity of our group, and he’s proven he can be a difference maker for us,” said Chiefs Head Coach and General Manager Brian Maloney. “Arjun brings experience, toughness, and a real commitment to doing things the right way.”
“I’m really happy to be back with a championship-level organization and an incredibly supportive community. I can’t wait to get things going and see how far this group can go,” said Bawa.
