Langley – The Langley Rams organization announce the appointment of Jesse Maddox to a multiyear contract as their new Head Coach & General Manager.
Maddox brings experience from the CFL, CIS, CJFL, CMFL, and NCAA. Maddox, a London, Ontario native, has a rich and diverse coaching background, with multiple levels of experience across Canada including roles as Head Coach, Offensive Coordinator, Defensive Coordinator and Recruiting. Recent coaching experience in the CJFL with the Okanagan Sun and London Beefeaters, CMFL/AFL Men’s Semi-Pro with the Fort McMurray Monarchs and Lloydminster Vandals, within USports at Western University as a recruiter, CFL scouting stints, and multiple CFL guest coaching opportunities which includes time at IMG academy in Florida, free agent camps, and Mini camps.
Maddox’s depth of experience extends into the American game as well, playing High School football in North Carolina, winning a High School 4A State Championships, and a brief NCAA stint, while he resided in the United States.
He also has been working with Prep Schools and JUCO programs for recruiting purposes. Jesse currently serves as Head Coach & General manager of the Canadian Senior Men’s National Tackle Football team where they’ve just recently completed games in Italy and Germany. The squad heads to Mexico City in early December to take on team Mexico, as part of the gridiron nations championship.
