Cheam First Nation – In a social media post on November 4, Cheam First Nation posted an update on the New Administration Building at Cheam
Site preparation for the new Administration Building will begin early November and continue through late December. The building will be situated between the Public Works yard and the Watchmen building, where the former Administration building was. The space will strengthen our ability to respond to community needs and foster closer connections with members by providing a central place for the community to connect on Lands, Housing, Community Safety, Environmental, and Public Works initiatives. This will free up much-needed space in the current Administration building for more community meetings and gatherings, while allowing the rest of Administration to work more efficiently in supporting the Nation’s priorities. We look forward to welcoming members to the new office.
