Abbotsford (CBSA/RCMP) Four individuals were taken into custody following an illegal border crossing from the United States into Canada.
The incident occurred on October 8, 2025 when three individuals fled on foot being pursued by U.S. Customs and Border Protection and unlawfully crossed into Canada in the area of Northwoods Road in Lynden, Washington and 0 Avenue in Abbotsford.
The three individuals as well as the driver were arrested and turned over to the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) for further investigation and processing under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (IRPA).
Investigations are ongoing and no further details will be released at this time.
