Abbotsford – On Thursday morning (October 23, just after 11AM), one AbbyPD’s Plainclothes Youth Squad Officers entered a convenience store in the 32700 block of George Ferguson Way.
The store clerk requested assistance with a man outside who was causing problems for customers and refusing to leave.
When the officer approached and attempted to identify the individual, it was revealed that the man was currently wanted for Breach of Probation.
At the time of his arrest, he was also found to be violating a court-ordered condition stemming from a previous arrest by being in a prohibited area of our community.
The suspect, 38-year-old Matthew Santoro—well known to police for his extensive criminal history—has been charged once again with Breach of Probation.
He remains in custody, with his next bail hearing scheduled for October 27th.
