Conor D’Monte Pleads Guilty to Conspiracy to Kill Abbotsford’s Bacon Brothers

Fraser Valley (CFSEU/IHIT) – The Combined Forces Special Enforcement Unit of British Columbia (CFSEU-BC) and the Integrated Homicide Investigation Team (IHIT) announced that Conor
Vincent D’Monte, a member of the United Nations (UN) gang, has pleaded guilty to
conspiracy to commit murder as part of a plot to kill Jonathan, Jarrod, and Jamie
Bacon of the rival Red Scorpions gang.

Between 2008 and 2009, British Columbia endured one of its most violent periods of
organized crime conflict as the Red Scorpions and United Nations (UN) gang
engaged in a series of deadly shootings and public gun battles that endangered
communities across the Lower Mainland.

Through years of coordinated investigation and intelligence-sharing efforts, CFSEUBC and IHIT worked in close collaboration, leading to 18 arrests and 12 convictions of UN gang members and associates. Among those charged was Conor D’Monte, who was accused of conspiring to murder the three Bacon brothers as part of a violent gang conflict that claimed numerous lives across the region.

Despite extensive investigative efforts, D’Monte managed to evade capture for over
a decade. In 2022, he was located and arrested in Puerto Rico following a global
manhunt supported by CFSEU-BC, IHIT, BOLO, and Crime Stoppers. He has
remained in custody since his extradition to Canada. (See previous news release)
On October 21, 2025, D’Monte entered a guilty plea to conspiracy to commit murder
in connection with the plot to kill the Bacon brothers – marking a pivotal moment in a
case that has spanned more than 15 years.

“This outcome powerfully demonstrates that the pursuit of justice has no borders
and no expiry” said Assistant Commissioner Manny Mann, CFSEU-BC Chief Officer.
“CFSEU-BC, IHIT, and our law-enforcement partners across Canada and
internationally relentlessly pursued Conor D’Monte to ensure accountability for his
role in this violent act”.
