Chilliwack – Saturday night March 9, is the Chilliwack Chiefs’ Indigenous Celebration Night.
The game is vs the Langley Rivermen with a 6PM Puck Drop. Presented by Kwaw-kwaw-a-pilt First Nation.
Pre-Game, the Sasquatch Dancers will be welcoming fans into the Coliseum.
The Sto:lo anthem will be drummed by the Salish Society and the Kwaw-kwaw-a-pilt Council will drop the puck.
During the 1st intermission, acclaimed Cree/Salish songstress Artist Fawn Wood will be performing. Wood won a Juno Award in 2022 as the Traditional Indigenous Artist of the Year.
As always, the collaboration hat with Nations Creations, an Indigenous-owned and operated manufacturer located in Agassiz, will be available for purchase in The Barn.
