Chilliwack – On Tuesday evening (February 20 @11PM) Chilliwack Fire was dispatched to a report of a residential structure fire in the 10100 block of Hymar Drive.
Approximately 31 Firefighters from Halls 1, 2, 4 and 6 responded to the scene and discovered a single-family home with flames and smoke venting from the front of the home.
FVN learned that the home was just put on the market.
There were no firefighter injuries reported at this fire. One occupant received a minor burn and was treated at the scene by BC Emergency Health Services Paramedics.
The Chilliwack Emergency Support Services (ESS) team was dispatched to the scene and provided emergency supports to displaced occupants.
This fire is under investigation by Chilliwack Fire Department officials.
