Tourism Harrison Receives Green Light on Lease Renewal for New Building

Harrison – Robert Reyerse is the Executive Director of Tourism Harrison.

He took to social media to thank the Village of Harrison Hot Springs who on Monday night (February 5) approved the renewal of the lease for the land where the new building is located.

The new facility will be opening in the next couple of months.

In his remarks: We invite all residents to visit what has been designed to be the most accessible Visitor Centre and Museum in BC. It is a celebration of Harrison, the Sasquatch and the Sts’ailes people and something I believe we can all be proud of. Working closely with a committee including Sts;ailes representatives we have created a replica long house room that will tell the story of the Sts’ailes people. Our “Land of the Giants” room will include all things Sasquatch as well as a life-size 8ft sturgeon with a giant Bald Eagle soaring above. While we have experienced a few delays we look forward to welcoming both residents and visitors soon.
