Chilliwack/Vancouver — Robert and Reta Magrath love to ride horses together and are trotting away with joy after winning $1 million from the January 24, 2024 Lotto 6/49 draw.
The Chilliwack couple checked its ticket on Robert’s phone while at home. “We were so excited! We had to count the zeros,” recalled Robert of the moment the pair realized it won.
The Magraths are looking forward to completing horse related bucket list items together.
Robert said he would like to participate in a competition in Las Vegas with their horses. For Reta, she is excited for the world finals horse competition in Fort Worth. “You need to be top 15 in the world – that’s a bucket list goal!” said Reta.
On how it feels to win?
“Surreal!” said Robert.
The Magraths purchased the winning ticket at Super Save Gas on Fraser Highway and Cottonwood Street in Abbotsford.
