Chilliwack -(with files from Chilliwack Scanner) – Chilliwack Fire was working on a fire in a two story 60x40ft. wood frame residential structure with heavy smoke and flames showing from rear side.
This is Young Road and Riverside Drive and the call came in around 10:40 AM Monday morning.
No one was hurt and the residents and their pets escaped safely.
This fire is considered accidental and is under investigation by the Chilliwack Fire Department fire investigators.The Chilliwack Fire Department wants to remind the public,extension cords are for temporary use only. Have a qualified electrician determine if additional circuits or wall outlets are needed
