Chilliwack/Burnaby – The BCHL and the Chilliwack Chiefs released the 2023-2024 schedule. With the Wenatchee Wild leaving the league and re-tooling for the WHL, a quick revamp of the sked had to be made.
The BCHL season will begin on Friday, Sep. 22 and conclude on Sunday, Mar. 31 and will consist of 54 games for each team. For the Chiefs, they start on the road in Langley on September 22 and the first home game is the next night, September 23 at the Coliseum against th3e Victoria Grizzlies.
Key dates:
Sep. 22 – opening night
Oct. 22 to 26 – BCHL Showcase in Seattle
Mar. 16 – Fred Page Cup rematch (Alberni Valley @ Penticton)
Mar. 31 – regular season ends
Apr. 5 – BCHL Playoffs begin
The schedule currently does not include BCHL Showcase games, where each team plays two regular-season contests. The full Showcase schedule, as well as teams, location and dates for the BCHL Road Show event, will be announced at a later date.
