Hope – The District of Hope issued a notice that Trans Mountain will be blasting on Thursday June 15, at approximately 3AM to support the Expansion Project construction. During the blast, they expect full eastbound & westbound lane closures of the Trans Canada Highway (Between Hunter Creek Exit 160 & Flood Hope Road Exit 165 ) for 15 minutes to accommodate the removal of any hazards safely.
If unforeseen circumstances arise, the closure will be extended to accommodate clean-up. This work/closure is being coordinated with the Ministry of Transportation, which will update DriveBC accordingly.
