Temporary Site Access 1 p.m. – 4 p.m. Wednesday

Evacuated residents are invited to return to their homes today to retrieve important items and other essentials from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. inclusively. Due to the state of the building, residents will be escorted by a member of Mission ESS.

Essential items are defined as: medicine/medical devices, important documents, identification, essential clothing, wallets, car keys, and pets. Vehicles can also be removed at this time.

If pets are not permitted at current housing, residents are encouraged to make care arrangements for their animals as there may not be another opportunity to access the space in the short term due to the safety of the building.

ESS Reception Centre 24/7

An Emergency Support Services reception centre is open at the Leisure Centre (7650 Grand St) for information and to provide support for those evacuated. This space is available for drop-in 24/7.
