Agassiz – On May 10(@2:40 PM), BC Highway Patrol attended a fatal head-on collision between two commercial vehicles on Highway 7 at Whaleach Road, east of Agassiz.
Police are seeking any and all witnesses to this collision, including anyone with dashboard camera video of an eastbound dump truck to which oncoming traffic may have had to take evasive action to avoid a collision prior to the fatal crash.
Police also wish to speak to the driver of a school bus that may have taken evasive action prior to the collision occurring. The attached photo is believed to be the bus in question, traveling west on Highway 7 at about 2:30 PM on May 10.
BC Highway Patrol Chilliwack is continuing to investigate this collision with assistance from the Integrated Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Service. Anyone with further information or dashboard camera video is asked to contact BCHP Chilliwack at 604-702-4039 and cite file 2022-16206.
