Chilliwack – Nikki Rekman, the President of the Chilliwack Vedder River Cleanup Society has the numbers from the April 21 clean up and they are disturbing.
Rekman told FVN: “let you know that at our April cleanup we collected a total of 3.08 MT of garbage out of the Chilliwack/Vedder River valley. 0.57MT of that was metal. We had 132 volunteers out! Great work!”
