Abbotsford Councilor Patricia Ross was elected President of the Lower Mainland Local Government Association this week, taking over the helm from Laura Dupont.
Harrison Councilor Michie Vidal completed her term as Director at Large and was honored to accept the position of 2nd Vice President.
Vidal told FVN that among the many issues talked about and forwarded to UBCM, transportation was the big shiny item. Abbotsford was cut off from the world during the Atmospheric river in November 2021. Harrison only has one main route in and out.
