Yarrow – It’s still ON! BUT will Vedder Mountain Road CLOSED for flood and culvert repair, you have to access vie Keith Wilson to Boundary to No 3 Road and Into Yarrow.
The Eats and Treats Christmas Market is a GO, but the Farm Store in Yarrow is changing the focus: it’s a benefit for flood relief efforts.
How?
• They’re making massive pots of duck chili – FREE to flood workers, and by donation for everyone else, all proceeds going to the Flood Relief Community Care Centre (administered by Yarrow Alliance Church).
• Please bring non-perishable food donations, diapers, and formula for evacuated families.
The Farm Store in Yarrow teamed up with Clarion Tanks to “Fill the Tank for Flood Relief” and will have a big tank on site for donating items that will then be distributed by Yarrow MB Church.
Donating all vendor’s booth fees to the Flood Relief Community Centre.The vendors will still be here! Just a few have had to cancel, but there will be LOADS of locally made goods, and it’s important that you support local makers right now:
• MANY Christmas markets have been cancelled, which hurts local makers who depend on the Christmas rush to pay the bills. The Farm Store in Yarrow decided to keep the market going to support local bakers and makers.
