Victoria – On Wednesday afternoon, BC Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure Rob Fleming says the flood-affected Highway 1 between Chilliwack and Abbotsford is projected to reopen Thursday.
He adds this will provide significant relief for people needing to travel through the Fraser Valley.
Fleming made the comment at the Tuesday briefing along with Saefty Minister Mike Farnworth.
He added that crews are continuing to monitor the situation and the upcoming storm could change things.
Fleming says the updates will come through Drive BC.
