Fraser Valley (with files from Peter Vogel) – Helicopters aloft in the Fraser Valley this morning to aid in search and rescue operations in connection with severe flooding and landslides. C2B157 RCAF Cormorant, and this interesting small craft, C-GUTE.
The rule of thumb that you have heard many times, in case of a natural disaster, be prepared to be on your own for the first 72 hours.

Police Helicopter Air 1 is currently in the area of Sumas Prairie assisting the Emergency Operations Center (EOC) with making a morning assessment. Photos of the area are being provided to the EOC for a real time assessment.
