Supporters of Lytton Museum & Archives Plan To Rebuild After Summer Firestorm (VIDEO)

Lytton – The British Columbia Historical Federation announced that the Lytton Museum & Archives will rise from the ashes.

On June 30th 2021 a firestorm destroyed the village of Lytton in a matter of minutes. Homes, businesses and the community’s museums were wiped out.

BCHF’s Mark Forsythe visited Lytton in September to speak with Richard Forrest from Lytton Museum & Archives, Lorna Fandrich from the Lytton Chinese History Museum, and John Haugen of the Lytton First Nation.

They all lost important collections, but each is determined to rebuild.
