Chilliwack/ Nanaimo – On Wednesday, the British Columbia Football Conference (BCFC) announced a rarity in its rules. Something that happened to the Valley Huskers ( in their favor) in 2019.
The VI Raiders football team has had to forfeit a regular season victory due to an ineligible player.
The player was rostered against the Valley Huskers in a game played October 2nd in Chilliwack.
The Raisers had won that game 21-19 on a last second field goal at Exhibition Stadium.
The result of that game will be a 1-0 victory for the Valley Huskers, and all game stats will remain. The Huskers are now listed as 3-3 and have a shot at the playoffs.
The ruling by the BCFC falls within their rules and regulations for ineligible players.
The Huskers are in Kamloops this Saturday.
