Mission – Mission Council, along with the Bike Task Force broke ground at Griner Park on one of three new park structures to be introduced to Mission this month.
Griner Park will be the new home to Mission’s very first pumptrack carrying on the legacy of Gerry Griner that the park remains for the enjoyment of children. The engagement for the pumptrack requested public input on track features, preferred location, and included neighbourhood visits.
Construction is expected to begin on October 11, 2021.
Construction of two new play structures is slotted to take place at Ross Park and Mission Sports Park around the end of October and early November.
