Trans Mountain Pipeline Expansion Update- TMX in Front of Chilliwack City Council (VIDEO)

Chilliwack – This past Tuesday, Trans Mountain pipeline spokespersons were in front of Council with a construciton update of what the next year looks like.

The twinning of the pipeline cuts a swath through Chilliwack and council was quick to point out that they had questions, especially on safety and the protection of the aquifer.

Construction between Hope and Chilliwack is very obvious along Highway 1.

In the video, Trans Mountain’s Project Manager Brian Cikaluk outlined ‘Spread 6’, which is 70 kilometres in length, from Bridal Falls to 232nd Street in Langley.

Construction starts in January 2022 and should be complete by the end of 2022.
