Cops for Cancer Tour de Valley 2021 in Chilliwack – Andrew Christopher’s Family Involved (VIDEO)

Chilliwack – Cops for Cancer Tour de Valley 2021 is an exciting annual event where law enforcement and emergency services personnel cycle across the coast of BC raising money for childhood cancer research and support services at the Canadian Cancer Society.

On Tuesday, the Cops were in Chilliwack at the RCMP detachment.

The impact of cancer on the life of a child and their family is devastating. Donations made to the Canadian Cancer Society through Cops for Cancer are used to fund life-saving pediatric cancer research and caring support programs like Camp Goodtimes to reduce its impact.

Musician Andrew Christopher and his family were there. He lost his 3 year old daughter Lilee-Jean to cancer in 2013. Curently, one of his other daughters is now one-year cancer free.

Constable “Adrian” shaved his head for the event.

Sgt. Krista Vrolyk told FVN that over $100K has been raised in this year’s tour and she was proud that $10K of that came from some of her supporters.
