Rainfall Record Set for Chilliwack – Friday September 17

Chilliwack – (Roger Pannett Environment Canada) Roger Pannett with Environment Canada confirmed what we all thought. Last Friday was WET!… and record setting !

For Chilliwack ,  September 17th , was the all time record rainfall of 89.5 mm.

Previous record for day 30.2 mm in 1970.

Previous all time record September rainfall was 85.6 mm on September 23rd, 1903.

The Chilliwack rainfall records go back to 1879.
