Chilliwack – Just before 3:30PM Friday afternoon, multiple crews from Chilliwack Fire responded to the New Mark Apartments, just off Yale Road & 9400 Victor Street.
Chilliwack Fire dispatched firefighters from Halls 1,2, 4, 5 and 6 as they worked on heavy, black smoke and flames on the exterior of a 4-storyapartment building
The building had an automatic fire sprinkler system which activated and prevented the fire from spreading into the other apartment units.
No one was hurt and the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
