BCHL Wenatchee Wild Playing Road Games in Canada Until Allowed to Cross Border

Burnaby/Wenatchee – Road Warriors.

The BCHL announced several schedule changes involving the Wenatchee Wild due to the extension of the border closure for people traveling into the United States from Canada.

The Wild will exclusively play road games in the early part of the season and will make up their home dates in the later months.

The team was previously scheduled to play four home games in October against the Penticton Vees, Surrey Eagles, Salmon Arm Silverbacks and Trail Smoke Eaters.

The BCHL’s Return to Play Task Force continues to investigate solutions if the land border remains closed beyond October. The league will provide further details at a later date.
