On August 26, 2021 at 7:30 a.m., the RCMP Upper Fraser Valley Regional Detachment (UFVRD) responded to a call and found a deceased male in a field on Chowat Road, in Agassiz.  An initial exam by front line police determined the death to be suspicious. IHIT was called in to investigate.
