Kent Harrison – It was a busy Saturday for Kent Harrison Search and Rescue.
Kent Harrison SAR were paged at 8AM to respond to reports of a vehicle down an embankment at 42Km on Harrison West FSR. The lone occupant was extricated from the vehicle with the assistance of North Fraser Fire and Reliable Towing. SAR members used rope rescue rigging to bring the subject up to the road.
Kent Harrison SAR reminds people using the forest service roads to drive cautiously and follow standard road traffic protocols; stay clear of soft edges and don’t cut corners.
The 2nd call was not as dramatic. A report of a vessel on Harrison Lake without power.
