Maple Ridge (Josh Olund BCIT Radio A&E) – Ecole EricLangton elementary in Maple Ridge is the latest school to be exposed to COVID-19 in the area.
However, the number of schools in School District42 has dropped in recent days. Fraser Health now only lists four schools, from a high of 11 two weeks ago.
On April 26-29 there was a confirmed case of the virus at Eric Langton. Fraser Health has initiated contact tracing to identify individuals who need to self-isolate or self-monitor for symptoms. The households that did not receive a phone call or letter should continue having students attend school. Any students or staff members who show symptoms must stay home.
