Maple Ridge (Josh Olund BCIT Radio A&E) – Police were stopping traffic after a crash involving a car and a motorcycle on Lougheed Highway at the intersection with 225 Street.
BC Ambulance, RCMP and firefighters had responded to the call at 10:35 a.m. Thursday morning. A witness said that the person on the motorcycle flew through the air and appeared to have been badly injured.
The driver behind the motorcycle said the motorcyclist had the green light westbound on Lougheed Highway.
One lane is blocked westbound on Lougheed while emergency crews tend to the scene.
