Kent/Agassiz – Agassiz Speedway crews remain hopeful for a 2021 race season. In anticipation of this, organizers are putting together the annual spring clean up.
A tune up for the track, if you will.
Barb and Andy will be at the track over the weekend, April 10-11, to get some much needed work done around the track area and grandstands. They need help from anyone who can come out, who can bring weed-eaters with cutting blades as the blackberry bushes are getting out of control; anyone with gloves and rakes to help out as well.
Barb will cook up her famous hot dogs for all volunteers. They plan to get started around 9:30-10am both days. Please reach out to either Barb @ 604-819-9317 or Andy @ 604-795-0114 to sign up. There are plenty of different areas that need attention, so we can keep people/families well spaced out.
The next race is tentatively scheduled for May 1, 2021 Opening Day!

Due to COVID-19 in 2020, they live-streamed races as they were unable to have more than 50 fans in the stands.
As long as the COVID-19 restrictions are in place in 2021 and continue to be limited to how many fans they can have, live-streams will continue.
