This Voices of the Valley podcast originates from a March 2000 audio-cassette tape recording. It has been converted to digital format. Father Basil talks about the history of Westminster Abbey in Mission, BC. (He passed away November 11, 2019) As interviewer and producer John Henry Oliver put it: “Father Basil was one of the most interesting and funniest people I’ve ever met. Great stories, great kindness and great humour. He was a big fan of SCTV’s McKenzie Brothers, Bob & Doug, and did a fine imitation of them while leading tour groups”.
