Initially, snow levels will be nearer to the summits but are expected to drop through the morning. Gusty winds are also forecast through the day and could generate local areas of blowing snow leading to reduced visibilities at times.

15 to 25 cm of snow is expected before snow tapers off this evening.

Be prepared to adjust your driving with changing road conditions. Visibility may be suddenly reduced at times in heavy snow.

Weather in the mountains can change suddenly resulting in hazardous driving conditions.
