Chilliwack – This past week, parents of kids who attend the Montesorri Child Growth Society at 5658 Vedder Road, received a shock.
The day care has closed for the time being, sending parents to try to make other day care plans.
Letters were sent out to parents as well as on their Facebook page.
It is hoped, according to CEO Amber Bardwell, that “personal and family issues” can be attended to and that the centre would re-open in April.
Other on line critics noted that paychecks for staff have been missed and that issues with Provincial Governing bodies are being addressed.
There is no clarity on the Facebook page that there will be a re-opening.

On top of that drama, is the face that access to the day care is restricted due to the ongoing construction in the area. Vedder Road is being expanded and traffic will be a bottle next (near Garrison) for quite some time.
